Enzo - K9 - Beaverton Oregon Police Department - Donation #30

 Enzo

Beaverton Oregon Police Department

From Officer Rob Wolfe, his partner:

Enzo was born Gucci Vom Kluttenplaz in July 2009. He comes from a long line of working dogs, both in sport and police work. I met Enzo in January of 2011, less that 48hrs after he landed in the United States from Germany. He and I immediately began training to become a certified team.

After our initial training, within a couple weeks we started locating criminals that tried to hide from the police. Within 3 weeks of certification as a team, Enzo tracked and located 5 suspects on 4 different tracks all in the same shift. Setting and still holding the current record for our department, with 5 captures in one shift. Our first year was busy with lots of work.

We still work together, tracking suspects and missing people, searching for and locating evidence left behind and protecting our fellow officers and citizens. Enzo is known by many for his "crazy eyes," which give him quite the intimidating look, but I have yet to find a mean bone in this dogs body.
Confident, tough and fast, but the first dog that I would pick to take into a kindergarden class or local mall to play with the kids.

Thank you both for all your work to keep us safe :)

Live Creatively!
